Organization & Executive Board![]() Sara Wise (Denver, Colorado) has served Delta Omicron as the Gamma Province President since 2018. Prior to this, she served as the Zeta Zeta President. During her collegiate years, Sara held the office of Treasurer and First Vice President. Sara holds a Music Therapy degree and Vocal Performance certificate from Colorado State University. During this time, her primary emphasis was voice with a focus on Opera performance and Choral music. Sara actively practices as a board certified music therapist in the State of Colorado where she specializes in working with children with terminal illness and disabilities. Sara is also an active member of the Colorado Music Therapy State Task Force who are currently working on licensure for Music Therapists and increasing access to services for clients.Through her advocacy Sara has improved access to music therapy by adding services to medicaid waivers and helping to improve accessibility to clients and families. Recently, Sara's career has broadened by becoming a Housing Navigator, but she still actively uses her music therapy training while supporting those experiencing homelessness. Sara is an active Mezzo soloist in the Denver Metro Area. Sara crosses into both the operatic and indie folk world. Sara has worked with a variety of companies across the Front Range including the Loveland Opera Theater, Empire Lyric Players, Denver Immersive Opera, Opera Fort Collins, as well as a variety of churches. Sara is active in the local Denver music scene as well as with her indie folk due where she plays violin, ukulele, guitar, and is lead vocalist. |
