Delta Omicron Xi Province Day

The 2008 Xi Province Delta Omicron State Day was held at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida on March 29th. Alpha Phi Chapter hosted the event.

The afternoon began with a Meet-and-Greet Hors d’Oeuvres Reception in Honeyman Pavilion, the glass lobby of their university auditorium. Great food and fellowship was enjoyed by all! Later that afternoon, the collegians presented a Province Day Musicale. It was a mixed program of vocal, flute, violin, piano, oboe, viola, and clarinet music.

The attendees then viewed the Delta Omicron History PowerPoint presentation created by Michelle Worthing. The collegiate and alumni attendees enjoyed that presentation, especially the old photographs from Delta Omicron’s past.

The culmination of the evening was the initiation of nine new Delta Omicron members. The initiation took place in their small chapel on campus, facing west, with the setting in a perfect position for initiation.
