Centennial Membership Directory Planned

The Board of Directors has approved a contract with Harris Connect to publish a Centennial Directory of Delta Omicron membership. Data collection will begin in the fall of 2008, and the Directory will be published in time for the Centennial Conference in July 2009.

The directory will feature several sections: one section will provide an overview and brief history of the fraternity; a second section will be an alphabetical listing of members with individual information; a third section will list members by chapter and school; a fourth section will list members by musical interest area; and the fifth section will list members by state headings and city sub-headings. What a great networking tool the directory will be

Each Delta Omicron member will be contracted by phone and letter by Harris Connect beginning in early fall and asked to provide information for your own personal listing in the directory. We encourage everyone to respond to the Harris Connect survey so that we can have the most complete listing of membership possible.

Later in the year, members will again be contacted by Harris Connect and invited to purchase a Directory. The cost will be around $69 for a softbound copy, and $79 for a hardbound copy. Membership purchase of the directory is totally voluntary and distinct from the earlier data collection phase.

We hope that all members will participate in this fraternity project. It will be a great networking resource and an excellent reference for finding D.O. friends and acquaintances throughout the nation. It has been many years since we have had a fraternity directory. Be sure your name and information appear in this historic centennial edition.
