Lambda Province Gathering

On April 19 and 20, the William and Mary campus was visited by a majority of the members of Alpha Theta Chapter. The members traveled for five hours in three cars from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland.

Lauren Estes, President of Delta Tau, said, “The week-end was a blast! It was great to learn about how other chapters work. We filled the day with a musicale by both of our chapters’ seniors, a chapter song exchange, a lunch/sing-along, a walk through Colonial Williamsburg, a concert from one of William and Mary College’s a cappella groups One Accord in which five Delta Tau members perform, a picnic dinner, a meeting with National WHEEL Editor Janet Gross, an impromptu dance, and a Ghost Walk through Colonial Williamsburg.”

Alpha Theta Publicity Director Katy Baird described the remainder of the week-end: “The Delta Tau chapter then led us to our resting places for the evening. They were kind enough to open their homes and dorm rooms to us. In the morning, we met at a coffee shop on campus and began our five-hour journey back to Frostburg. Overall, the province workshop was successful and a great chance to meet other DO’s.”
