About DO Alumni

Alumni Chapters: chartered by the Delta
Omicron Board of Directors upon receipt of a petition signed by the
required number of members. Chapters derive their names from the Greek
alphabet in its regular sequence prefixed by Zeta, Eta, Theta, and Beta,
according to date of installation.

alumni members (those no longer affiliated with
collegiate chapters)

chapter patron or patroness (a person interested in
music, Delta Omicron and its members)

Alumni Clubs: composed of initiated
members who are no longer affiliated with a collegiate chapter. The Club
derives its name from its location, and may petition the Board of
Directors when its membership reaches the number required for an alumni
chapter.

Alumni-At Large: Those alumni members unaffiliated with alumni
chapters or clubs. These members are grouped into as many geographical
areas as deemed desirable by the Board of Directors.
A chair person, appointed by the board, is in charge of each assigned
area.
