Text Box: Greetings!
As the newly inducted National Music Advisor, I extend my wishes for a super year to all chapters and members of Delta Omicron. I feel extremely honored to have been elected to this position and will do my utmost to help the organization grow and also celebrate our first 100 years as a fraternity.
It is very important that we keep up to date with your musical activities. As we are a professional music fraternity we should be leaders in our individual communities and schools in the promotion and presentation of quality musical performances.
Our Triennial Conference served as a tremendous learning opportunity for myself and I know I echo the thoughts of many when I thank the organizers for such an excellent convention. As we look forward to the centennial anniversary celebration that we will have in the year 2009, we must carefully plan our musical programs so that we can enjoy the best musical presentations possible. After all, it is music that has brought us together.
We would also love to add to our songbook - please consider writing new songs. They don’t have to be complicated, just fun to sing! If you have anything to submit, please send them to me; you can send them hard copy or via e-mail compressed file if they are on the Finale program.
I will try to keep you all updated via the web site and future communications. If you have any concerns about the musical efforts of the fraternity, please feel free to e-mail me. I would love to hear from you at anytime!!
All the best for a successful year!
Love in DO,
Bob Lindahl
